Able Seaman John Hilsdon

John sadly "Crossed the bar" in June of 2008 and recently his brother going through his effects found a lot of Ulster material some of which is already on the website e.g. S.N.O.W.I. guard in Bermuda and kindly sent it to me.  John also served on HMS Barrosa, Brocklesby and Rhyl.

The Commissioning Order of Service I have scanned in original and  also produced a reasonable facsimile.

		Standing L-R: 'Farmer' Plowright, Jack O'Sullivan?, John Hilsdon, ?, 'Jumper' Collins, Ted Ditum, ? Crouching L-R: ?, Jeff Chandler, ? Note from Ted Ditum. Match played in Canada and he thinks Duke of Edinburgh showed up for part of match.
